Targets are built around large saved lists and saved searches that need to be shared between committees and/or statewide campaigns.

Instead of needing to wade through folders, saved lists or activist codes to find the right voters, searching on targets will automatically create that list.

Currently, the commonly shared Targets for committees is the 'Party Switchers' target. This allows users to identify voters who have switched from one party to another, which is not possible in the Votebuilder UI.

In the past, Kentucky had two shared target provided by the DNC: KY_reg_date_target and KY Asterisk Voters. Since those were created, these data points have been added directly to existing features in 'Create A List'. For 'KY_reg_date_target', the person's registration date has been found on the raw voter file and can be sorted on using the 'Age - Registration Date' section; for 'KY Asterisk Voters', the voters on the inactive list are now marked as 'Registered Inactive' under Voter Status.
