FEBRUARY 22, 2022 UPDATE: Per the State Board of Elections (SBOE), the new congressional and state legislative districts will not be available on the SBOE Voter File until "sometime after March 7". In the meantime, an ad hoc version of these new districts are available as McGrath Custom Regions.
For updated districts in Votebuilder, the KDP will be working with the DNC Team to update the districts once they have been finalized.
Once the KDP has acquired the updated district info, work will be done to create a crosswalks for district changes and how to accommodate those in the event of redistricting issues (such as split precincts).
Due to updates requiring an immense time commitment and data infrastructure change, it is difficult to give an exact timeline for when these will be available in Votebuilder. Once those have been worked through, the districts will be adjusted in VAN automatically by the VAN Team.
Due to the way that districts are assigned, these are not changes that can done manually by the State Administrator or KDP.
When those changes have been made and are live, correspondence will be sent out to all users.
