In order to continuously improve data quality across the state - and per KDP Data Standards - the ability for all users to create activist codes and survey questions has been disabled.

Looking at the last two campaign cycles for comparison (2018 and 2020), the candidate and volunteer survey questions created in Votebuilder went from  33% of questions being mapped to Master Survey Questions in 2018 to 91% being mapped in 2020. This improvement was the result of KDP shifting survey question creation from campaigns to KDP Admins when campaigns were set up with accounts.

If new ones are needed, please fill out and submit the Google Form below. After review, the data team will work with the county party to best implement the survey question per our data standards.

As per Section 4c of the County Party Voter File Agreement, "County Executive Committee may not redistribute, sublicense, assign, or provide Votebuilder access in any way to any other County Executive Committee, candidate, committee, or individual.". As such, if any survey questions or access codes are requested to be created, that request will not be honored as this is against the usage policy. In addition, the data team have the right to modify the question as needed so that it adheres to best practices and standards.
