You want to use Canvass Results to find how many doors you have knocked or phones you have called, as well as see who entered the data or canvassed said voters.

Step 1. Select Canvass Results on the main menu.

Step 2. Select the date you wish to view and select walk in “Contact Type” to see people canvassed at the door. Put phone in the “Contact Type” if you wish to see total call attempts to voters or select both to see them combined.

The bottom right will show total attempts which tells you the results of the parameters you put into Canvass Results.

Step 3. “Group By” canvasser to see who entered/canvassed the doors to extrapolate further info from the results. You can also group by other parameters such as city, county, and house district to see how things are going in a set geographic area.

Similarly, to view Survey Question results, VAN has the 'Survey Question Summary' report to view these.

Step 1: Scroll down to the bottom of your screen under 'Main Menu' and click 'Report Manager'.

Step 2: On the side menu, go to 'Canvass Results' and select 'Survey Question Summary'.

Step 3: From here, you will be presented with the following screen but 'Question' will be blank. Select the survey question you want to analyze from the drop down and adjust the 'Date From/To', 'Input Type', 'Contact Type', and 'Group by' drop downs as needed.

If done right, you will see a screen similar to the one below with your canvassers (or Group by Field) down the left handside and your survey questions up top, and broken down by canvasser.
